D-Blog Week: My Pick-Me-Up Diabetes Soundtrack

It's now the fourth day of Diabetes Blog Week. And the topic:

Today let’s share what gets us through a hard day.  Or more specifically, a hard diabetes day.
Is there something positive you tell yourself?  Are there mantras that you fall back on to get you through?  Is there something specific you do when your mood needs a boost?  Maybe we've done that and we can help others do it too?

Music makes me feel a whole bunch better.

Yes, cranking up some tunes and letting myself sing along is a mood-booster for me.

And for diabetes, there are some specific songs that do the trick. Here are a few tunes on my soundtrack to a better diabetes mood...

Breath, breath, and just... LET IT GO.

"It's funny how some distance, makes everything seem so small... and the fears that once controlled me, can't get to me at all."

When I'm freaking out... This Is Not The End Of The World

To those who don't "get it" but like to tell me they do: YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT FEELS

Hey, all you unhappy people... Don't Bring Me Down.

American Storm... because sometimes, that's how diabetes feels.

Community fun makes me happy...

Cherise and George always bring a smile.

How can this not make you smile???
As noted above, Community rules.

Oh and btw: No, this one doesn't make me feel Happy.

A few of the tunes that make me happy when it's needed the most.

What songs make you happy when it comes to diabetes? Or more to the point on today's D-Blog Week prompt prompt, mantras and more...

:) :) :) This post made me happy.

I basically do the same when diabetes isnt being friendly. Music in my ears, hips wiggling in the most unco way ever...and sometimes my pump is my dance partner.
